Guest Rooms:

Daily housekeeping will be modified this year, such as stayover service will not be available. However, additional items like toilet paper, soap, creamer, cups, etc. can be requested.

We take pride in maintaining the highest standard of housekeeping and hygiene. We will elevate our rigorous protocols to thoroughly clean all surfaces with hospital-grade disinfectants, including doorknobs, light switches, and other high touch areas in the room.

Lobby and Public Spaces:

In the lobby and public spaces, we will have dedicated staff to clean high touch surfaces with increased frequency, using products and disinfectants meeting the requirements for effectiveness against COVID-19.

Hand sanitizing stations will be installed at the hotel entrance, front desk, the Perky Moose Café, and the Mountaineer Grill & Bar.

Signage in public spaces will inform guests about COVID-19 symptoms and good health practices such as washing hands to protect themselves and others and remind guests to maintain social distancing. We will be adding partitions at check-in to provide an extra level of precaution for our guests and our staff.

The hotel shuttle will be available to transfer guests to and from the Alaska Railroad Denali Depot. An on-call shuttle will be accessible to the Nenana Canyon and the Denali National Park Visitor Center. Guests will need to request the on-call shuttle with the front desk.

Guests are required to wear face coverings on the shuttle. There will be empty seats in between guests and signage to remind guests of social distancing while on board. Additionally, there will be enhanced vehicle cleaning throughout the day.

Food and Beverage:

Dining operations at the Perky Moose Café and The Mountaineer Grill & Bar will be modified this summer. The Perky Moose Café will be open for breakfast and lunch. The Perky Moose will serve an express breakfast, hot lunch options and grab and go items. The Mountaineer Grill & Bar will be open from 4 pm-10 pm for dining in and take out service.

Employee Training:

Employees will adequately use personal protective equipment while on duty, strive to maintain social distancing from all guests or fellow employees, and receive proper training and protocols for their well-being and safety.

Grande Denali, LLC, will continue to monitor and evolve our procedures to ensure a continued focus on the health and safety of our guests and employees. We want this to be a great and safe experience for our guests while enjoying the beauty of Denali National Park.
